You've heard of Lean - but what's Leannovation?
There are many consultants and trainers in industry promoting the values of Lean, the Lean Philosophy, or a Lean Culture.
Some act just like consultants and will observe your operation and tell you where to reduce inventory, or how to re-arrange
your facility to achieve "flow", but then leave you with little more than a report. Others help organizations by teaching them
various Lean "Tools" such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, and Kaizen, but this is often done in a classroom
and with little or no actual use. Still others take a more holistic and long term approach and have methods to help change
the culture of an organization into a Lean one while simultaneously teaching the methodologies of Lean.
Leannovation goes beyond all those models. We know that any company has only one sustainable advantage - its people and
their collective imagination. Knowing about Lean "tools" is not enough to fully tap an organization's potential, so we teach
Lean Improvement Systems with emphasis on process innovation. Changing the culture of your organization into a Lean
one is a good start, but if your competitor has a Lean culture focused on eliminating the seven wastes, where is your
advantage?
Leannovation has a unique system to change your culture into a Lean Innovation culture. In a Lean Innovation culture the
waste of creativity and talent - the eighth waste - is attacked with formidable, proven innovation methodologies that have
been woven into the traditional Lean "tools" to create Lean Improvement Systems. A Lean Innovation culture has
breakthroughs everyday. Your organization accelerates past your competition by tapping the full potential of the people in
your organization.
The Leannovation Philosophy
At Leannovation we believe in people and their abilities to solve problems and create opportunities. We are not consultants;
we are teachers, mentors, facilitators, trainers, coaches, and cheerleaders. Our primary role is to function as change agents
while creating and coaching Lean Leaders in your organization. We believe that investments in teaching people and creating
a learning, innovative culture are the only investments that appreciate over time.
As trainers, we realize that people learn in different ways: visual learners by seeing or reading, auditory learners by hearing it
explained, and tactile learners by actually doing it. All of our training uses techniques that will enhance everyone's retention
of the information. Our Lean Leader training, for example, creates "ownership" of the information by having the trainees see
it, hear it, use it, and then finally to teach it during a Kaizen event. It is comprehensive training, and the only training that
combines Lean with leading edge creativity boosting tools.
